Gerald began working in the air conditioning business in 1980. He bought Frigeration Service (est. 1935) of Shreveport LA. in 1989. In 2004 he sold his business and farm to retire to northern Arkansas. He published his book and preparedness manual. After a couple of years as a farmer and public speaker decided to keep his hand in the service trade and took a part time job with Ozark Refrigeration.

As Gerald said, “Working for Blase has been rewarding, I have had an opportunity to learn new things, meet new people. Blase operates an efficient operation and is a man of integrity. I enjoy meeting the residents of the Ozarks, turning wrenches and trouble shooting.”
